Where History Lives
Barr SS Heritage House B&B is an experience all in itself. From the Historic Bank Robbery by the James/Younger Gang that took place in this very home in 1868. ( Yes this home used to house The Southern Bank Of Kentucky ) To stories of gold being hidden inside the walls of the home to keep soldiers from stealing it. We want to take everyone that stays in this Southern Beauty through the history that has made it all that it is today.
Your stay will include a beautifully appointed room and a full homemade breakfast each morning. We have a lovely garden to stroll through and plenty of nooks to hide and enjoy reading a book from our book cases. You might like to take a walk just a few blocks down the street to visit the local shops and restaurants. We are located between Nashville Tn, Bowling Green Ky and Mammoth Cave National Park.
